How water pollution affects our planet

Water pollution is affecting our planet by killing animals and humans.

Firstly, water pollution is affecting our planet by killing our animals and making the water very dirty and full of plastic. Water pollution is everywhere from beaches to lakes, rivers, and even to the water hole. This is making everywhere yucky and disgusting and that is just from water pollution. Don’t get me started on plastic because it can kill over 1 million sea animals a year.

How water pollution is affecting our animals, water pollution causes so many problems, but the largest problem is plastic is the ocean. Plastic can cause a lot of problems and it kills fish, birds, sea turtles, and even destroys habitats. It can even affect sea animals' when they are mating which can have a very big problem, and that can wipe out entire species.

Lastly, how water pollution affects humans, humans are the main cause of water pollution in many ways like throwing your garbage out in the area which leads to rivers then to the ocean.  Chemicals in the water also have negative effects on our bodies which can be pretty bad, you can get fevers and other more dangerous things than just a fever.

In conclusion, this is how water pollution affects our planet.

 How deforestation affects our planet

Today I want to explain how and why deforestation is horribly affecting our planet and our environment.

Firstly, the loss of trees can cause climate change which is really bad for the environment and us human beings. And the loss of trees can also cause deforestation, fewer crops, and flooding. But how can we stop this you ask, by not cutting down as many trees as you want or when you cut down 1000 trees you have to plant double the amount of trees.

The natural climate solution, what is a natural climate solution you might ask, well it is a restoration and land management activities that increase carbon storage and spread greenhouse gas across the wetlands, grasslands, and forest. And another natural climate solution is: you guessed it trees. But if we cut down all those trees we could not breathe and not smell that fresh air and feel that wind in your face.

Lastly, so many animals die a year just from deforestation and people cutting down trees. And to answer your question: 5 million animals die a year. But deforestation can lead to animals directly losing their habitat in the wild. And they are losing their home and their food.

So, in conclusion, that is why deforestation is a big problem. And also why we should stop cutting down trees. Thank you for reading my explanation of how deforestation is affecting our planet.

Why plastic pollution is a global problem

Why I think plastic pollution is a global problem and how it is affecting the environment. So today I am going to tell you how plastic continues to affect the environment and sea life around us.

Why plastic is horrible for the environment and our sea life. Firstly Plastic is again very bad for the Environment and to make things worse plastic normally takes up to 1000 years just to decompose in landfills.  And it is especially horrible when plastic ends up in the ocean, but most of the time, it came from the dump or just came from people who do not put their rubbish in the bin.

Secondly, floating plastic is another big problem because floating plastic has been found in many seas and oceans everywhere and inside of fish, birds, turtles, and even around turtles necks.

But I have been asking myself how we can fix this by picking up rubbish and putting it in the bin so it might not go in the ocean.

Did you know that you are put around a credit card worth of plastic in your body a day?

Lastly, this plastic pollution has been sadly known to cause cancer and birth defects because plastic is in the ocean the fish eat the plastic and we eat the fish. But lately plastic pollution has really been affecting the human food chain. By how much plastic we use a day and to answer your question we use more than half a billion plastic straws every day.

So, in conclusion, I think we should look out for our environment and or sea life and look where we put our plastic.

Making scripts

Two sisters cat or dog (script)

I wrote this script  with Tane and it was very weird but fun

(Scene 2)  They get home and go into Emily's bedroom.

Selena ok what do you want to talk about

Emily I want to ask would you rather have a puppy or a kitten

Selena hmmm that’s a hard one I probably want a puppy

Emily same but how are we going to convince mum?

Selena, I don't know but we are gonna need a hell of a good plan

because we both know she hates dogs or puppies.

(Scene 3) Selena and Emily are at school discussing how they are gonna ask mum over lunch.

Selena Well if we were going to get a dog what breed would it be?

Emily hmm not sure

Selena Well I think we should get a pitbull

Emily Well I think we should get a rottweiler

Selena ok but again how are we going to convince mum

(Scene 4) Selena and Emily are back home in Selena’s room.

Emily well I know mum will never let me have pet sins I killed my pet fish.

Selena well then we need to convince her by doing a lot of chores

Emily oh on chores

Selena  yes because if we do lots of chores she will think that we are responsible enough to look another a dog

Emily oh fine

Selena ok now chop chop

(Scene 5) Selena and Emily are in the kitchen doing the dishes and cleaning the whole house.

Emily why are we doing this again?

Selena so we can get a puppy duh

Emily oh right I’m so forgetful

(Scene 6) They finished their chores when mum got home and they said…

Selena Hey mum so can we just talk about something?

Emily So since we have been really good can we talk about getting a pet…

Mum I already told you guys wait till you get older...

Selena BUTTT MUMMM

Mum No that's final no buts, and don't raise your voice at me young lady

(Mum walks away)

Emily I guess mums right maybe we should wait until next year

(Selena groans)

Selena alright...

(They both walk back to Selena's room)

This is just to say

The difference between  WW1 ( World War 1 ) and
WW2 ( World War 2 )

The difference between  World War 1 and World War 2. World War 1
started on 28 July 1914 and ended on 11 November 1918. But did
you know that in World War 1 around 8.5 million soldiers died in
4 years.

World War 2 started on 1 September 1939  and ended
on 2 September 1945. In World War 2 around 75 million people
died in the 6 years world war 2 went on for. Also in World War 2,
16 million American soldiers went to war and 140,000 soldiers
from New Zealand went to World War 2.

World War 1 and World War 2 are really different because
WW1 was in 1918 and WW2 was in 1939, and also WW1 only
lasted 4 years and WW2 lasted 6 years. Some faster about WW1,
within 4 years around 13000 people joined the army.

More facts about WW1…
Before World War 2 began in 1939, World War I was called the
Great War, the World War or the War to the end was all Wars in the
19th century . In 1914, 135 countries took part in World War I,
and more than 15 million people died in World War 1 and a military
lasting from 1914 to 1918 which involved nearly all the biggest
powers of the world.

More facts about WW2…
World War 2, also called the Second World War, conflict that
involved  every part of the world during the years 1939 or 1945.
The principals were too. Axis powers of Germany, Italy, and Japan
and France, Great Britain, the United States and to a lesser extent,
China.

And this is some of the reasons what is the difference between
World War 1 and World War 2, and now you know a lot more facts
about WW1 and WW2.

How did trench warfare work in WW1?

What is trench warfare?
Were they go to a battle field and  2 or more countries dig
holes on each side and put boards in the holes and make
stairs. Then they fight to the end and millions of people
died in trench warfare.

In trench warfare there were a lot of rats so they put food
in barrels and when the rats came they would shoot them.
And if you got trench foot it is like a infection. But it feels
like a painful condition of the feet caused by long
immersion in cold water or mud and marked by blackening
of your toes.

It is estimated that there were about 2,490 kilometre of
trench lines dug during World War 1. Most trenches were
between 1-2 metres wide and 3 metres deep. Trenches
weren't dug in straight lines in WW 1 but  trenches were
built as  zigzag or in pattern with many different levels
along the lines.

Around 8.5 million to 12 million people died during the
war. And more than 100 countries went to the trench
warfare. Including  Germany, Austria Hungary, Bulgaria
and the Ottoman Empire (the Central Powers) fought
against Great Britain, France, Russia, Italy, Romania,
Japan and the United States.

In conclusion this is how I think trench warfare worked in
WW 1.

Technology

Today I went to tech I'm in woodworks with Mr. Benjamin.
It was my first time at technology and I really liked it, we were making a neon light thing but no one finished it. Woodworks is easy to me and really fun and I learnt how to cut with a tiny, scary, sharp thing that I was not scared of.
